UPPER EAST SIDE — A 32-year-old woman was killed while riding the back of a motorcycle along the Ed Koch-Queensboro Bridge, when another cyclist who was driving while impaired slammed into her, NYPD said.

Tasha Rodriguez was riding on the back of a man's 2015 BMW motorcycle on the lower level exit ramp at East 60th Street and First Avenue at about 3:21 a.m. on Saturday, when a second motorcycle collided with theirs, causing her to fall off, according to NYPD's Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad.

When Rodriguez fell to the ground, the driver of the second motorcycle, 28-year-old Bronx resident Jeremy Perez, struck her, police said.

By the time emergency responders arrived, she was unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to her body, and was pronounced dead, officials said.

Perez, his 21-year-old female passenger and the driver of the motorcycle Rodriguez was riding were taken to an area hospital in stable condition, police said.

Perez was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired, a violation, officials said.

Police could not immediately provide more information about Perez's condition while driving. Authorities are still investigating the accident.

Perez has not yet been arraigned and information regarding his attorney was not available.
