All Weekend:

► Just Between Friends Consignment Sale

Where: Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 25 Carmine St. in Greenwich Village (entrance on Bleecker Street)
When: 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

From maternity clothes to stuff for teens, get everything you need for your family at this consignment sale hosted by local parents. Gently used clothing, toys, electronics, books, baby goods, furniture and more are all priced 50 to 90 percent off retail. The organizers will also buy back Graco Alano, Passage or Spree strollers that were recalled in 2010 with $25 certificates to spend at the consignment sale. Leftover goods are donated to the nonprofit Sanctuary for Families, which helps victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking, as well their children. Everything is half off on Sunday.

River to River Festival

Where: Governors Island/South Street Seaport
When: 12 p.m. through 9:30 p.m. daily

The River to River festival, now in its 14th year, brings a host of eclectic performances to Lower Manhattan with daily events, many of which take place outside, along the downtown waterfront and Governors Island. Music, theater, dance and art shows are scheduled all weekend. All events are free.

Dominican Film Festival New York City

Where: Various locations in Washington Heights
When: Various times

The fourth annual version of this festival brings more than 50 films by Dominican and Dominican-American filmmakers to New York City. In addition to panels with producers, directors and actors, there will be two workshops for those interested in film, one on acting and another on producing. Individual tickets are $12.

Friday, June 26

NYC Pride Rally

Where: Pier 26 in Hudson River Park (just north of North Moore Street in TriBeCa)
When: 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The kickoff event for the city’s Gay Pride weekend will be headlined by “princess of hip-hop and R&B” Ashanti. Free, but guaranteed parking can be purchased in advance online. Check out the NYC Pride website for more information on this and other Pride events this weekend.

Neighborhood Movie Nights at St. Paul’s Chapel

Where: St. Paul’s Chapel, 209 Broadway, Downtown
When: Doors open at 6:30 p.m., movie starts at 7 p.m.

Watch free movies and grab some some gratis popcorn and non-alcoholic drinks at St. Paul’s Chapel, every 4th Friday of the month. On tap this week: "Back to the Future."

Saturday, June 27

► Volunteer at Hell’s Kitchen Farm Project

Where: Metro Baptist Church at 410 W. 40th St., Midtown
When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Get your hands dirty at the Hell’s Kitchen Farm Project rooftop garden. The veggies from the garden go to the church’s food pantry. Free, every Saturday.

► Dragon Boat Family Festival

Where: Museum of Chinese in America, 215 Centre St., Little Italy
When: Noon to 4 p.m.

The Museum of Chinese in America’s annual Dragon Boat Family Festival includes several activities, from storytimes and arts and crafts to zongzi tastings, where visitors can try the traditional rice dumpling treats. Highlights include an interactive educational activity about dragon boat racing as well as the opportunity for kids to build and race their own dragon boats. $10 per person, $8 for all MOCA Dual and Individual Level Members and free for MOCA Family Level Members and above, children under 2 and Cool Culture families.

► Summer Family Day

Where: The Morris-Jumel Mansion in Washington Heights
When: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Morris-Jumel Mansion will hold its annual family fun day where children are invited to play colonial games on the lawns surrounding the museum, make arts and crafts and tour Manhattan’s oldest house. In connection with the museum’s current exhibit of works by British-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare, Morris-Jumel educators will also lead workshops in batik cloth dyeing. Free for children under 12, $10 for adults.

► Celebrate Ramadan Festival at the Childrens Museum of Manhattan

Where: Children’s Museum of Manhattan, 212 W. 83rd St., Upper West Side
When: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m

The Celebrate Ramadan Festival, aimed at teaching children about Ramadan, includes live dance and storytelling, as well as the opportunity to make collages and explore a 3D mosque. Tickets for children and adults are $11, Seniors (65 and older) get in for $7, children under 12 months and members get in free.

Sunday, June 28

► NYC Gay Pride March

Where: Starts at 36th Street and 5th Avenue, ends at Greenwich and Christopher streets.
When: The march kicks off at noon, and the street fair goes from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The city’s biggest gay pride event is not to be missed. (Last year’s event included 55 floats!) This year’s grand marshals include actors Sir Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi, Ugandan LGBT activist Kasha Jacqueline Nabagesera, who organized her country’s first Pride festival last year, and J. Christopher Neal, who runs a Brooklyn-based organization for gay men of color. Also check out Pridefest, a street fair with vendors and live entertainment on Hudson Street between 14th Street and Abingdon Square, and grab a bite at Boots & Saddle’s drag brunch in their new location on Seventh Avenue South, with a special show at 2 p.m. Pride events are free; Boots & Saddle drag brunches are $15 and include a complimentary mimosa, Bloody Mary or screwdriver.

The Museum of Interesting Things’ History of Quack Medical Devices Party

Where: 177 Prince St.
When: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

This “secret speakeasy” party is courtesy of a traveling pop-up museum and will feature short films, demonstrations and refreshments. There’s also a “Boroughs of the Dead” walking tour beforehand from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets, available online, are $10 for just the party; $30 for walking tour and party.

Sundae Sermon

Where: Saint Nicholas Park at West 135th Street, Central Harlem
When: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Take part in this free outdoor music festival to kick off the summer. Families are encouraged to bring picnics to the park and enjoy free house music from international DJ.

► Tenement Chic North: Ornamentation and Architectural Tour of the East Village

Where: Northeast corner of Second Avenue and East Seventh Street
When: 10:45 a.m.

Learn more about the East Village architecture in a walking tour hosted by the Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy. The tour, led by urban historian Barry Feldman, will focus on mythical beasts, botanicals and other architectural ornamentations that adorned 19th- and 20th-century tenements. Advance tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and students. Tickets are an additional $2 the day of the tour.

► The Scandanavian Music Festival

Where: Fort Tryon Park, Billings Lawn
When: 2 p.m.

The Scandia Symphony and Danish opera company Pin-Upera will present mini-opera “Clumsy Hans.” The text is based on fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen, with music chosen from popular operas. Free.
