PARK SLOPE — A 43-year-old woman was beaten in the head with a gun during a robbery on Sunday, NYPD said.

The victim was parking her car on 10th Street near Seventh Avenue at about 3 a.m. when another car passing her stopped and slowly reversed, police said.

Two men, one in a white hoodie, jumped out of the car, and one of them jammed the muzzle of a silver handgun against the victim's mouth and demanded money, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

The woman fell to the ground, covering her purse. One of the men then hit her on the head repeatedly with his gun. The robbers fled in their car without taking any valuables.

The woman was taken to New York Methodist Hospital for treatment, police said. The attack took place just a block away from Mayor Bill de Blasio's Park Slope home.

Minutes later, armed robbers struck about a mile and a half away in Gowanus, but it's not yet known whether the two crimes were related, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

In the second incident, two women, ages 33 and 51, were walking on Degraw Street between Third and Fourth avenues about 3:06 a.m. when three men in a sedan approached them. The men were armed with two silver semi-automatic pistols and demanded that the women hand over their valuables.

The women complied and the robbers fled in their car toward Third Avenue, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
