Have you spotted a lonely penguin in the East Village?
A family is searching for a “plush penguin” after it lost him on June 9 at Avenue D between Fifth and Sixth streets, according to a poster put up in the neighborhood.
The unidentified penguin, which is about 3 to 4 inches tall, was last seen between 2 and 3 p.m., the sign states.
The fuzzy stuffed animal’s family could not been reached at the number provided on the poster, but apparently he is “very missed,” according to the sign.
The family is offering an undisclosed reward.
