QUEENS — A 23-year old man was found dead with severe head trauma in a Queens park Wednesday, police said.
The body was discovered in Forest Park, near Park Lane South and Woodhaven Boulevard, by two men walking through the green space at about 3:30 p.m.
Sources said the two park goers saw a trail of blood leading to the victim who was lying face down and had head injuries.
A tree branch with traces of blood was also found nearby, sources said.
The man, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
