PROSPECT HEIGHTS — A car full of DJ equipment was stolen from Prospect Place and Carlton Avenue on May 28, according to a police report.
A gold Infiniti worth $3,000 was stolen along with a "DJ disco light," speaker stands and turntables, the report stated.
The car's 50-year-old owner was sleeping in a nearby apartment at the time of the theft, which happened about 4 p.m., according to the report.
Overall, major crimes in the 78th Precinct have dropped 1 percent this year compared with the same period in 2014, according to the latest figures from the NYPD.
