BROOKLYN — A tipster led police to a man that slashed a Swedish tourist across the neck on her way to the airport, police said.
Don Carter, 32, was picked up by police near his home Tuesday, a day after he attacked the 29-year-old woman in a southbound A train car at the Euclid Avenue subway stop in East New York, police said.
Carter fled the train just after 6:15 p.m. Monday, police said.
The victim's injuries were non-life-threatening and she was treated at Jamaica Hospital and later released, police said.
This is the fourth time this year Carter has been arrested, police said. His lengthy rap sheet dates back to 1997 and more than 50 arrests, police said.
