QUEENS - An "elderly" driver accidentally accelerated through the wall of a Flushing grocery store Tuesday afternoon injuring herself and four other people, police and fire officials said.
Emergency workers responded to a call for help just after 6 p.m. at a Pathmark located at 31-06 Farrington St. in a strip mall, FDNY officials said.
Images taken after the crash by officers from the 109th Precinct show the badly damaged SUV resting in the middle of the grocery store surrounded by crushed carts and splattered produce.

EMS rushed the 72-year-old driver and four other people to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police and fire officials said.
While police from the 109th Precinct tweeted that injuries were minor, fire officials said they transported one of the victims in critical condition.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said.
