BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A man broke into Bed-Stuy apartments, grabbing some of his female victims by the throat before robbing them, police said.

Police arrested Jeffery Robinson, 39, for breaking into a Bed-Stuy apartment on May 24 and stealing $2,500 in electronics before fleeing through a rear window when the victim found him in her home, officials said Tuesday.

Police believe he may be linked to three other May burglaries during which two female victims were grabbed by their throats, police said.

The first incident took place on May 6 at about 4:40 a.m. when a man allegedly entered a 27-year-old woman’s home through an unlocked front door and grabbed her neck as she slept, police said. The woman woke up and the man then fled with $100.

Then about two hours later, he entered another apartment through an unlocked front door. A 25-year-old woman inside woke up and saw him fleeing with $250 and a debit card, police said.

The man broke into a third home through an open window on May 13 at about 2:35 a.m. A 28-year-old woman inside woke up to find him snatching her purse.

He grabbed her by the throat and told her to be quiet, according to police, before dropping the purse and fleeing.

Officials are investigating Robinson’s connection to the three cases, an NYPD spokesman said Wednesday.

He is charged with burglary, criminal possession of stolen property, possession of burglar’s tools, assault and criminal mischief for the May 24th incident.
