Summer's nearly here, and you're not the only one eager to spend some quality time outdoors.

Thanks to legislation that passed in the state Senate last week, it may soon be legal for dogs to dine alongside their owners in outdoor restaurants and cafes, according to the Times Union.

(The bill doesn't apply to cats, but that hasn’t stopped some locals.)

The bill still needs to pass in the state Assembly before it becomes law, according to reports.

But here are a few dog-friendly sidewalk cafes and outdoor bars to visit in the meantime:

Five Leaves at 18 Bedford Ave. in Greenpoint

Five Leaves’ sidewalk café at the corner of Bedford and Lorimer streets appears to be a popular spot for all kinds of four-legged creatures, including a lamb who was spotted there in March.

Tavern on the Green at 67th Street and Central Park West in Central Park

After a long walk in the park, head to Tavern on the Green’s walk-up window, where you can order from the restaurant’s to-go menu. There’s also outdoor seating available for you and your pup.

The Beal Bocht Cafe at 445 West 238th St. in Fieldston

Whether it’s happy hour or open mic night, the Bronx café welcomes dogs into their sidewalk café near Greystone Avenue.

Breadbox LIC at 47-11 11th St. in Long Island City

This café is not only cool with dogs in its patio area but it’s also organized dog “paw-rades” and costume contests in the past, according to its Facebook page.

The Half King at 505 West 23rd St., in Chelsea

Kick back with a beer and your pup at this Chelsea pub’s sidewalk café.

Ovelia at 34-01 30th Ave. in Astoria

This Greek eatery has been lauded by at least one Yelp reviewer as a great place for dogs. It's got an outdoor area where the pups were “greeted warmly” and even got a bowl of water to sip on.

Morgan’s Barbecue at 267 Flatbush Ave. in Prospect Heights

The popular barbecue spot, which is just a few blocks from the Barclays Center, has a number of picnic tables in its outdoor seating area. As long as your dog stays on the street side of the fence, you’re good to go.
