MANHATTAN — Was it bring your child to work day for this bicycle thief?

A man stole two bikes from an Upper East Side basement while walking with two kids, one of whom was in a stroller and had two balloons, police said.

The man, who can be seen with the kids in surveillance footage released by police, broke into a storage locker of a 60th Street apartment building on April 12 and removed the bikes sometime between 4 and 4:30 p.m., police said.

Police did not provide a cross street.

In the first half of the video, the T-shirt-clad suspect walks alongside the stroller, which is being pushed by another kid, and grabs one of the bikes as it rests against a wall before walking on.

He then appears to don a red hoodie and return for a second bike, this time without the two children.

The suspect is between 18 and 30, has tattoos and was wearing diamond earrings and a baseball cap with "New York" written on it, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
