VIDEO: Police Searching for Gunman Who Opened Fire in Harlem, Hitting Bus

EAST HARLEM — Police are searching for a gunman who opened fired on an East Harlem street Monday, hitting a man in the foot and an MTA bus with passengers inside, officials said.

The NYPD released surveillance video Wednesday showing the suspect who fired several shots on East 104th Street near Madison Avenue on April 20. 

The target of and motive for the shooting was not clear.

One of the bullets hit a 31-year-old man in the left heel as he was standing at the intersection at roughly 5 p.m., police said. He was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.

Two bullets struck the back of an M3 bus headed north on Madison Avenue, and while no passengers were shot, one injured his knee diving for cover, authorities said. 

The video of the gunman shows him wearing a black do-rag, a red hooded sweatshirt, a dark vest, jeans and sneakers.
