QUEENS — Van Morrison has just been added to the lineup for this year's concert series at Forest Hills Stadium, which already includes stars like The Who, Ed Sheeran and Santana.

The stadium first relaunched the summer concert series in 2013 and then completed a major facelift.

It also came as residents living near the venue complained about excessive noise

Ahead of the opening of its third season, the 112th Precinct is holding a public meeting on April 21 to give community members a chance to ask the organizer questions and voice any concerns.

The series will kick off on May 28 with a performance by Ed Sheeran, followed by The Who on May 30, as part of their 50th anniversary tour. Santana will perform on Aug. 14.

And on Aug. 6, The New York Pops, an orchestra specializing in popular classics, will perform with Tony Award winner Sutton Foster. The stadium will also become the official home of The New York Pops beginning this year, the organizer said.

"For generations, The New York Pops has been searching for a summer home in the city," said Anne Swanson, New York Pops executive director in a statement.

The group will play there whenever there is an outdoor show.

"With our new incredible partnership with Forest Hills Stadium, we’ve finally gotten all the pieces of the puzzle in position to be an orchestra that performs regularly under the stars," Swanson added.

The historic venue, which first opened in 1923 and used to host the U.S. Open before it moved to Flushing, held numerous concerts in the past, including performances by Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan.

Most events were halted by the late 1980s, after opposition from local residents.

After residents complained of noise last year, the organizers said they were working to address the issue with the city's Department of Environmental Protection.

The 112th Precinct's public meeting will take place 7p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 in Our Lady of Mercy at 70-01 Kessel St. in Forest Hills.
