QUEENS VILLAGE — Four people were seriously injured in Queens Village when a truck hopped the curb and careened into a fruit stand after crashing a school bus full of kids and another car, officials said.

The Penske moving truck slammed into the New Giant Farms market at 211-14 Hillside Ave., near Hollis Court Boulevard, about 11:44 a.m., according to a witness and an FDNY spokesman.

A black Honda sedan and school bus full of 23 kids were also involved in the crash, but officials said they did not know how.

A shopper in her 40s was pinned between the truck and a case of fruit, an FDNY officials said.

She along with the truck's driver, who was trapped in his vehicle, and two other adults were treated for serious injuries at Jamaica and Long Island Jewish hospitals, FDNY officials said. Their injuries weren't life-threatening, officials said.

The 23 kids — including one who was more injured than the others — were taken to area hospitals, FDNY officials said. They did not specify how the one child was hurt.

"They were shook up. They were crying. It looks like some of them banged their heads," said another worker at Kabinet King, which was sheltering some of them in the aftermath.

The Department of Buildings was also notified and was going to check the structural integrity of the store, according to their website.

Officials at the scene said the NYPD was investigating the crash, but an NYPD spokeswoman said she did not have further information about it.
