BROOKLYN —  A cyclist was critically injured when he slammed into an MTA bus in Williamsburg Sunday night, police said.

The 46-year-old man, whose name was not released, was riding east on South Fifth Street about 8 p.m. when he hit the side of the southbound bus on Driggs Avenue, an NYPD spokesman said.

The cyclist was taken to Bellevue Hospital with critical injuries, police said.

Police did not arrest or ticket anyone involved in the crash, a spokesman said.

The MTA did not immediately return a request for comment.
