THE BRONX — A bicyclist was killed Sunday afternoon when a van struck him in Concourse Village, police said.
The 43-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, was near East 158th Street and Grand Concourse when the southbound GMC van, driven by a 24-year-old man, hit him about 5:14 p.m., NYPD officials said.
The cyclist was pronounced dead at Lincoln hospital, police said.
The driver was not immediately charged, police said.
