HUNTERS POINT — A coyote spotted on the roof of a bar in Queens Monday had still not been caught as of Tuesday afternoon, officials and witnesses said.

The animal got stuck on top of LIC Bar at 45-58 Vernon Blvd. for almost an hour and a half Monday afternoon, according to a witness, before escaping into an old paint factory building through a broken window.

Animal Care and Control sent field staff to the scene and searched the area, a spokeswoman said, but no additional sightings of the coyote were reported.

LIC Bar owner Brian Porter told DNAinfo Tuesday that the wild animal had yet to be caught.

"They didn’t catch it. I know they put traps down," he said. "There's been no sighting of it since it went into the building."

The NYPD did not have any information on the incident.

Animal Care and Control said coyote sightings should be reported to 311, while those presenting an imminent public safety risk should be reported to 911.
