CROWN HEIGHTS — Special delivery!

A Crown Heights grocery store got a surprise Monday afternoon when 10 boxes of pot came in the mail, police said, hidden inside vacuum-sealed bags filled with peanut butter.

The delivery came by regular mail at about 4 p.m. Monday, addressed to the Kingston Avenue store, sources said. The shop owner, who was not identified, immediately called the police to report the drugs, which were individually packaged in shoebox-sized containers, surrounded by peanut butter and vacuum-sealed.

The 71st Precinct tweeted a photo of the seized drugs Monday night, laid out on a table in front of the two officers who responded to the delivery.

“Wrong delivery address results in the seizure of 10 large bags of marijuana wrapped in peanut butter,” the tweet read.

No suspects in the case have been identified, police said.

The USPS did not immediately respond to an inquiry.
