QUEENS — A couple robbed two people in Queens this month in separate incidents after cruising around in a car looking for victims, according to the NYPD.

The first robbery happened on March 6 when the pair, who were driving a white sedan, spotted 27-year-old old woman walking near 195th Street and 110th Avenue in the middle of the afternoon, according to police.

The male suspect jumped out of the car, pushed the woman to the ground and took her pocketbook, the NYPD said.

Then on March 7 the couple spotted a 56-year-old woman cleaning snow off her car at 64th Avenue and 228th Street. The man again allegedly got out of the vehicle, pushed the woman to the ground and snatched her purse.

Neither woman was injured, an NYPD spokesman said.

The couple used a credit card from their first victim to purchase $141 worth of items at a Kew Gardens Walgreens at 175-06 Hillside Avenue, according to police.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES), then entering “TIP577.”
