EAST HARLEM — A man was stabbed to death on East 117th Street early Wednesday morning, police said.

Melvin McLoyd, the 26-year-old victim, was stabbed once in the chest in front of a residential building on 58 East 117th St. about 1:25 a.m., according to the NYPD.

Paramedics took him to Harlem Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. 

Randy McNair, a 22-year-old man who had blood on him, was taken into custody on Wednesday and later charged with murder, weapons possession and reckless endangerment, police said.
