CLINTON HILL — A new pop-up market is headed to Clinton Hill, featuring themed weekend events such as a garlic festival and pretzel days.

The founders of Brooklyn Pop-Up Market, which debuted last year at Bushwick's Bat Haus, just signed a year lease at the Trilok Fusion Center For Arts to host outdoor markets every weekend.

Self-proclaimed entrepreneurs Andy Belle and Misty Lynn McCauley founded the market as a way to give "small startups the chance to get their products out there" and provide fun, family-friendly activities for the neighborhood.

A full list of vendors has not yet been set.

The Clinton Hill grand opening, April 4 and 5, will feature the Easter Bunny, an Easter egg hunt and jewelry-making along with vendors selling vintage clothing, artwork and food.

Each weekend the market will have a different theme — the Garlic Festival on April 19 will feature locally grown garlic and garlic ice cream and Pretzel Day on April 26 will have pretzel vendors.

"We try to keep it fun so it's not the same thing every weekend," McCauley said.

Brooklyn Pop-Up Market will be at Trilok, located at 143 Waverly Ave., through the weekend of Dec. 21 when there will be a heated tent with holiday vendors and treats.

The market takes place every every weekend from noon to 7 p.m. For more information visit Brooklyn Pop-Up Market website.
