CHELSEA — Celebrity chef Mario Batali revealed the menu for his latest restaurant, a 474-seat, indoor/outdoor Italian extravaganza on the first floor of the Maritime Hotel.

The proposed menu for Maritima includes breakfast offerings like amaretti marscapone pancakes and duck egg with polenta and almond pesto, according to documents filed with the restaurant's liquor license application.

For brunch, Batali proposes homemade lamb merguez, raviolo al uovo and quail a diablo. Pastas like tonarelli with clams and zucchini, linguine with octopus all’arrabiata and black and white scialatelli with tuna polpettine also make the list.

The restaurant is a joint venture with Batali's business partner Joe Bastianich, son of famed television cook Lidia Bastianich, according to filings. It will have 88 indoor tables, 72 outdoor tables, and a bar, according to the application.

It was not clear when the restaurant will open. Batali could not be reached for comment and his lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
