NEW YORK CITY — As messy winter weather conditions continue into a new month, New Yorkers are taking to social media to gripe about their waning patience for snow.

After the coldest February in almost a century, the city woke up to sleet and large slush puddles on Monday, causing some dwellers to rename the city New Slush City on social media.

Snow and subsequent rising temperatures made for another treacherous commute on Monday morning. Although most agree that the city looks beautiful blanketed in snow, many New Yorkers said they had enough of it and were ready for warmer temperatures.
