QUEENS — Police are hunting for a hit-and-run driver who mowed down a 63-year-old woman in Richmond Hill Sunday and dragged her body before fleeing, police said.
The incident took place on Feb. 22, around 8:40 a.m. at 89th Avenue and 120th Street, authorities said.
Video released by the NYPD shows a dark grey Nissan Pathfinder SUV, from 2013 to 2015, driving away as the victim's body — which is blurred out in the video — is being dragged at least several feet.
The driver, police said, fled eastbound on 89th Avenue.
The woman, who sustained serious injuries, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, officials said.
According to the NYPD, no arrests have been made as of Tuesday.
