EAST VILLAGE — Police are looking for a man they believed was responsible for the Monday afternoon shooting of Alphabet City rapper Sham Da God.

Shaquille Fuller, 21, allegedly shot Shemrod Isaac, 33, a father and aspiring rapper, four times in front of the Lillian D. Wald Houses Tuesday, police said.

It was not clear what sparked the bloodshed.

Isaac had two children, a 6-year-old girl and 3-year-old boy. He was also a gifted rapper, looking for a break in the music business, people who knew him said.

Isaac was walking through the complex at 20 Avenue D, where he lived, after dropping off his young daughter about 4:30 p.m. when he was murdered, NYPD officials said.

Anyone with information about Fuller's whereabouts should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or visit their website
