HUNTERS POINT —  Police arrested a suspect in the fatal beating of a man outside a bodega in Long Island City, just a block from the 108th Precinct stationhouse.

Kaheem Addison, 29, of Huntington Station, LI, turned himself in to police Saturday and was arrested on manslaughter charges in the death of 32-year-old Jose Antonio Cocuyo-Malaga, according to the NYPD.

Police said Cocuyo-Malaga had been at a bodega on 50th Avenue and Vernon Boulevard early Friday when he got into an argument with two men in a livery cab.

He was punched and fell backward, hitting his head on the pavement, police sources said. He was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.

Police said Monday that Addison was the one involved in the assault and that no other suspects are being sought. Information on his defense lawyer was not immediately available.
