UPPER EAST SIDE — The queen of comedy’s palace has hit the market.

Late entertainer Joan Rivers’ lavish Upper East Side penthouse is now available for $28 million, according to The Corcoran Group.

The pre-war, 11-room condominium at 1 E. 62nd St., just off of Fifth Avenue, sits inside a fully staffed limestone mansion "built at the turn of the century as one of the opulent mansions of the Gilded Age," the listing says.

The triplex's centerpiece is a ballroom and adjoining music room with 23-foot-high ceilings, gilded antique boisserie paneling, columns and two fireplaces.

A wood-paneled library on the same floor features a fireplace and views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline.

The second floor has a mezzanine that overlooks the music room and ballroom, leading to the master suite.

In all, the apartment is about 5,100 square feet and includes two terraces, two kitchens, four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and five fireplaces.

Rivers, the legendary comedian whose career spanned more than five decades, died in September after complications from throat surgery. She was 81.
