MANHATTAN —  Off-Broadway Week is back, offering two-for-one tickets to 40 plays and musicals.

From Feb. 23 to March 8, dozens of theaters will give discounted tickets to shows including "Avenue Q," the raunchy puppet show, and "Bayside! The Musical!," the comic throwback to "Saved by the Bell."

Classics like "Blue Man Group," "Fuerza Bruta" and "STOMP" will be in the mix too, along with newer productions like "Brooklynite" and "El Loco Por Fuerza."

If you’re hoping to entertain the kids, try "The Berenstain Bears Live," a theatrical interpretation of the classic children’s books. "Cinderella," which opens on Feb. 22, is also tailor-made for kids, with a hands-on theater workshop at the beginning of the performance and a chance to make your own wand.

“Off-Broadway is home to innovative and cutting-edge performances,” said Fred Dixon, president of NYC & Company, which promotes tourism in the city. “Off-Broadway Week is a perfect opportunity for shows to welcome even more guests.”

Pairs of tickets range from about $20 to $80 depending on the show.
