EAST FLATBUSH — An MTA bus driver was arrested after striking and killing a 78-year-old pedestrian in East Flatbush Tuesday night, police said.

Reginald Prescott, 57, was driving a B44 MTA bus eastbound on Farragut Road when he made a turn onto New York Avenue around 6 p.m., police said.

He struck 78-year-old Jean Bonne-Annee, of East Flatbush, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Prescott was charged with violation of highway law and failure to yield, according to police.

The incident is under investigation by the NYPD Collision Investigation Squad.
