EAST VILLAGE — A teenager was shot in the chest and neck in front of the Lillian Wald Houses on Friday night, police said.
The victim, a 19-year-old man, was arguing with the shooter outside 60 Avenue D at about 11:20 p.m. when the suspect pulled out a gun and fired twice, police said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, according to the NYPD.
Police said the suspect was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans, though in surveillance photos released by police he appears shirtless.
