QUEENS — An 84-year-old man was struck and killed by a teenage driver in Jamaica Estates Sunday afternoon, police said.
The victim, Ignascio Andal, was crossing westbound on Wicklow Place at 188th Street about 3 p.m. when a 17-year-old boy turned his Mazda onto Wicklow Place and hit him, according to the NYPD.
Andal, who lived about four blocks from the scene, was taken to New York Hospital Queens and pronounced dead, police said.
Police did not immediately suspect any criminality in the crash, they said.
