UNION SQUARE — The “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” teaser trailer will premiere at two Manhattan theaters Friday, according to the franchise’s official website.

Regal Union Square Stadium 14, located at 850 Broadway, as well as the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13, located at 1998 Broadway, will be among the dozens of theaters nationwide — and the only two in the state — to screen an early look at the highly-anticipated film.

It was not clear which films the trailer would be attached to.

The theaters will first show the 88-second teaser from Nov. 28 to 30, according Star Wars’ official website. Following the holiday weekend, it will be shown at theaters worldwide throughout December, it said.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” will kick off a new series of films in the beloved film saga. J.J. Abrams is directing the film, which is expected to be released in theaters Dec. 18, 2015.
