PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — Police are looking for a man they said shot up a dollar van he’d been riding in Tuesday, wounding a fellow passenger, in one of a series of neighborhood shootings this week.

The incident happened at Lincoln Road and Flatbush Avenue in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens at about 4:15 Tuesday afternoon, police said. The suspect opened fire into a dollar van he had been riding in moments before on Flatbush Avenue, striking a male passenger in the hip.

The victim was found by police inside a nearby MTA bus on Lincoln Road, officials said, and was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The shooter fled the scene.

The attack was one of three shootings in the neighborhood that occurred between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

At 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a shooting on the eastbound service road of Eastern Parkway between Portal Street and Ralph Avenue near Lincoln Terrace Park. There, a 54-year-old man had been shot once in the head, police said, but survived the attack and was treated at Brookdale Hospital.

Later that night, police said an unknown suspect shot a 56-year-old man in the head, hip and abdomen outside of 1588 Pacific St. between Albany and Troy avenues at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday. The victim was taken to Interfaith Hospital in serious condition, police said.

The suspects in all three shootings have yet to be identified.

A neighborhood anti-violence coalition, S.O.S. Crown Heights, plans to hold a rally Thursday night condemning the shooting, which took place inside the group’s 40-block “catchment area” where they focus their violence mediation efforts.

The public rally will take place at 7 p.m. at the corner of Pacific Street and Troy Avenue, according to an event announcement.

Anyone with information about the Eastern Parkway or Pacific Street shootings are encouraged to call the 77th Precinct at (718) 736-0662. Those with information about the Flatbush Avenue shooting are welcome to call the 71st Precinct detective squad at (718) 735-0501.
