ASTORIA — Singer Patti Smith will join director Darren Aronofsky in Queens next month for a screening of his film "Noah" as well as a performance of a song written for the movie.

The pair will appear at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria on Nov. 17, where they'll talk about the film and their collaboration following a screening of the movie, according to a press release.

Smith will perform an a cappella version of her song "Mercy Is," which is featured in the film, organizers said.

"Noah," which premiered last spring, is a take on the biblical tale starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins and Emma Watson. Parts of the movie were filmed in Brooklyn.

"Noah is a remarkable cinematic accomplishment, a dazzling epic as well as a thoughtful and very timely interpretation of the biblical story,” museum curator David Schwartz said in a statement.

Tickets for the event go on sale Thursday and will cost $25.
