MIDTOWN EAST — Tex-Mex-style eatery Tres Carnes is opening its fourth Manhattan location later this year, the chain told DNAinfo New York.

The latest outpost is currently under construction at 817 Second Ave. near 44th Street and will open in late November or early December, said Sasha Shor, the executive chef and a partner at Tres Carnes.

“We are in construction and working on our mural wall, and will be putting in the equipment two weeks from now,” Shor said.

The layout of the space, which will have about 20 seats, will be similar to Tres Carnes’ Flatiron location. It will also have the same menu as the other outposts, including a weekly rotation of smoked meat.

The menu features soft tacos, burritos, bowls and salads with choices of meats and other toppings. All meats will be smoked on site and prices will all be lower than $9.

Like its other locations, the new Tres Carnes will also serve beer, wine, seasonal sangria and beer cocktails.

Tres Carnes debuted its first outpost in Flatiron in April 2013, and soon opened two more locations in the Financial District and at 57th Street and Third Avenue.

The growing chain also plans to open an outpost in Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island in early January 2015, Shor said.

“We’re not sitting still, I’ll tell you that,” she said.
