SOHO — A Russian restaurant is combining live classical music with five-course meals.

Ariana Grinblat, a six-time Russian Grammy Award-winning Russian pop star who opened the eatery Ariana in SoHo last spring, is launching a weekly 30-minute concert series featuring classical musicians, followed by a meal inspired by the artist.

The headliner for the first concert, on Wednesday evening, is a Bulgarian-born pianist named Nadejda Vlaeva, who has previously performed at Carnegie Hall and the Rose Hall at Lincoln Center.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the restaurant's Skylight Room, after guests are served a specialty cocktail and given time to socialize.

Following the concert, the audience will migrate to the dining room, where they will be served a five-course dinner of modern interpretations of classic Russian dishes, including an assorted cured fish platter with salmon cured in-house, roast duck or poached sturgeon dumplings (called "pelmeni" in Russian), beef stroganoff and cranberry artichoke scallops.

For dessert, diners can choose either a honey sponge cake called Medovik, or a chocolate butter cake, known as the Kartoshka.

The concert-and-dinner series will continue on Oct. 28 with Sandro Russo, who has also performed at Carnegie Hall, as well as in Amsterdam, Paris and Palermo. Additional performers scheduled for each Wednesday through Nov. 19 include Karén Hakobyan, William Hobbs and Yoonie Han.

The experience costs $85 per person, and includes two cocktails. Reservations are available though the restaurant's website, or by emailing contact@arianasoho.com or calling 646-678-4334.
