DUMBO — The owners of the DUMBO restaurant Superfine recently opened a kiosk that serves beer, wine and snacks in the Archway Under the Manhattan Bridge.

The stand, named The Lighthouse, will be open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. through fall and features libations like Finger Lakes wine and Pacifico Lager. There will also be a local beer on tap, such as Sea Salt Ale from Fire Island Brewing Co., which is currently being served.

The Lighthouse will offer small bites as well, though a menu has not been set. The kiosk, which will be open from May to October annually, features picnic tables where patrons can sip drinks.

Owners Tanya Rynd and Cara Lee Sparry, who designed the red and white kiosk, have experience in the restaurant industry from their 13-year run with Superfine. Rynd also owns The Joint cafe on Myrtle Avenue in Clinton Hill.

“We wanted to give the whole community one more way to enjoy spending time outdoors before the winter," said Alexandria Sica, director of the DUMBO BID, in a statement. "We are so happy to be able to partner with longtime DUMBOnians, Tanya and Cara Lee and we can’t wait to see everyone mingling under the Archway."
