FORT GEORGE — A pair of masked thieves were caught on tape robbing a St. Nicholas Avenue liquor store at gunpoint over the weekend, stealing hundreds of dollars in cash and the owner's wallet, the NYPD and store owner said.

The two suspects, who were wearing hoodies and black ski masks, entered Yuan Yuan Liquour Store at 1492 St. Nicholas Ave. about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, police said.

One of the suspects shoved a bystander away from the counter area, while a second man wearing a black hoodie and holding a gun climbed over the counter, the video shows.

The suspect stole roughly $800 in cash from the store, police said. Both suspects were described by police as being in their early 20s.

No injuries were reported.

Owner Guang Liu, 59, who was there during the robbery with two other employees and three customers inside, said the robbers stole the money from the day's lottery sales. They also took his wallet containing a small amount of cash and his ID, he said.

Liu, who has been at the location for 13 years, said he's now concerned it could happen again.

"I don't know what to do," he said. "I'm really worried that in the future they will come back and do the same."
