Police Looking for Man in Manhattan Armed Robbery Spree

MANHATTAN — A man robbed at least four Manhattan businesses at gunpoint in September, making off with more than $5,000, according to the NYPD.

The man first pulled a gun on an employee at a Subway sandwich shop at 12 West 25th St. on Sept. 4 and stole an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

He then allegedly struck Upper East Side convenience store Infinity News at Lexington Avenue and East 64th Street on Sept. 24 where he again threatened an employee with a gun and stole $4,000.

The armed robber then moved to the Upper West Side on Sept. 28, hitting a Food Corp on Amsterdam Avenue between 80th and 81st streets where he stole $400, according to the NYPD.

The next day, on Sept. 29, he allegedly robbed a deli at 515 Second Ave., near 29th Street, where he again pulled a gun on an employee who gave him $1,000.

No workers were injured in any of the incidents, police added.

The suspect is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded jacket and multi-colored baseball hat.
