BROOKLYN — Police released a video Wednesday of a suspect in the shooting death of a man killed near his apartment in the Bushwick Houses.

Bobby Roberts, 22, was shot twice in the torso outside of 140 Moore St. at 12:50 p.m. on Sept. 25, according to the NYPD. He was rushed to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Video shows a man dressed in a black jacket, pants and shoes, and wearing a black hat with white logo on it shoot Roberts at point blank range while the two stood in front of the doorway to the apartment building.

It was still not clear what motivated the shooting, a police spokeswoman said.

Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
