QUEENS — A livery cab driver was fighting for his life Thursday after being stabbed multiple times by a carjacker in Ridgewood, authorities said.

Fernando Crespin, 30, was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition after a man he was driving stabbed him several times in the chest and arms at 60th Street and 70th Avenue at about 1:35 a.m., an NYPD spokeswoman said.

The attacker then stole Crespin's gray Toyota Camry and fled, the spokeswoman added.

A spokesman for the New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers told DNAinfo New York that Crespin’s cab was found Thursday afternoon by a taxi driver.

It was not clear where the cab was found.
