CENTRAL PARK — A woman hit by a cyclist in Central Park last week has died from her injuries, police said.

Jill Anne Tarlov, 59, died Sunday at 8:45 p.m. from injuries sustained in the crash that left her in critical condition for several days, police said.

She was hit by bicyclist Jason Marshall, 31, on Thursday as he rode along West Drive near West 62nd Street in the park, according to police. Marshall had swerved to avoid a group of pedestrians and hit Tarlov as she was crossing in a crosswalk, according to police and news reports.

Marshall stayed on the scene and has not been charged with a crime. He was transported to the hospital for minor injuries related to the crash and released later that day, police said.

Tarlov, of Fairfield, Connecticut, was a former 1010 WINS employee and is survived by a husband and two children, according to reports.

"Everyone who had ever met her was somehow made better by her company," her husband, Mike Whittman, vice president of finance at CBS, said in a statement, according to reports.
