JACKSON HEIGHTS — Low-cost gym chain Blink Fitness opened its latest outpost in a large second-floor space in the neighborhood last week.
The gym held its grand opening Sept. 19 for its new location on Roosevelt Avenue, its third in Queens.
The second-floor fitness center on the corner of 78th Street features dozens of cardio and weight machines, including elliptical trainers and treadmills equipped with personal TVs.
There is also a large stretch mat and a free weights section.
Membership fees start at $15 a month, which gives access to the Jackson Heights location only and comes with a free personal training session.
A $20-per-month fee gives access to nearly all of Blink's 30 locations and includes unlimited guest privileges and a free personal training session.
Members can also buy water, towels, locks and Blink T-shirts at the location.
Blink is the discount option from the pricey Equinox brand of gyms and touts its clean spaces with "top-of-the-line equipment" and proximity to public transportation.
Blink Fitness' new location is at 78-14 Roosevelt Avenue, Jackson Heights. The gym will be open Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. until 11 p.m.; Friday from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. and weekends from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
