BROOKLYN  — A 20-year-old man with a long rap sheet was arrested in the shooting death of a man in Bed-Stuy last month, police said.

Joseph Hutcherson, of East New York, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Senecca McCullough, 35, inside 456 Quincy St. on Aug. 20, the NYPD said.

McCullough, of Throop Avenue, was found with a gunshot wound to the head about 12:44 a.m. on Weds., Aug. 20, after police responded to a 911 call, the NYPD said. He was pronounced dead at Woodhull hospital, police said.

An NYPD spokeswoman said the shooter and victim were acquaintances but had no further information regarding their relationship.

The spokeswoman added that both had extensive criminal records. Hutcherson's arrests include criminal weapons and drugs possession, reckless endangerment and obstruction of breathing, police said.

His arraignment information was not immediately available.
