THE BRONX — Police are looking for a man who fired a gun wildly out the door of a Castle Hill public housing building on Tuesday, police said.

The man was seen on video quickly firing several rounds out an open door in rear of 575 Castle Hill Ave. and then running up a flight of stairs on Aug. 19 at about 6:30 p.m., according to the NYPD.

It is unclear from the video who he was shooting at, if anyone, but police are considering reckless endangerment charges.

The alleged shooter is 20 to 25 years old, about 6 feet tall, with a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, camouflage shorts and white sneakers.

Anyone with information regarding shooting is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES), then entering “TIP577.”
