Woman Pushing Stroller Has Wallet Stolen at Fairway Market, Police Say

MANHATTAN — A woman's wallet was stolen as she pushed a stroller through Fairway Market on the Upper East Side last week, according to police.

The 33–year-old shopper was inside the grocery store on 210 E. 86th St. about 12:45 p.m. Aug. 8 when a thief snatched her wallet from her purse, which she had hung on the stroller, police said.

The suspect was wearing a blue cap, a gray T-shirt and light jeans, according to photos released by the NYPD.
