FINANCIAL DISTRICT — Dig in for free this Thursday at Dig Inn.

From pan-sauteed kale to grilled wild salmon, everything on seasonal fast-casual restaurant Dig Inn's new 80 Broad Street location menu will be free from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday to mark the opening of its newest Downtown site, officials said.

However, the farm-to-counter mini-chain will ask for a suggested $5 donation to support the nonprofit FoodFight, which focuses on food education in local public schools.

Dig Inn has two other Downtown locations, at 80 Pine St. and in the new Hudson Eats food court in Battery Park City.

The Broad Street location is the New York-based eatery's ninth city storefront. Once opened, hours will be Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
