JACKSON HEIGHTS — It's a taste of Park Avenue in Queens.
A spacious duplex apartment in a historic building that boasts views of a private garden, its own laundry room and even a built-in TV above the stove, hit the market this weekend for nearly $1 million.
The 1,600-square-foot, four-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in the Hampton Court at 78th Street and 37th Avenue — one of the oldest garden apartment buildings in Jackson Heights — was put on the market last week for $949,000.
Another four-bedroom apartment on the top floor of The Towers is in contract and was listed for the same price — following a trend of rising real estate costs in Jackson Heights.
"This is stunning, it's like in a magazine," said Michael Carfagna, of MPC Properties, which listed the duplex.
In 2008, a duplex was listed at the Greystones, at 35-33 80th St., for $749,000, but the listings rarely come up.

Comparable apartments elsewhere across the city and borough, in neighborhoods like Long Island City and Astoria, would list for much higher, Carfagna pointed out.
The Hampton Court duplex, which is in a historic district, was fully renovated while maintaining its pre-war touches.
The current owner replaced each of the 20 windows, painted the space throughout and added granite countertops in the kitchen.
The master bedroom has a walk-in closet with french doors and the private laundry room is on the second floor of the apartment.
There's even a TV installed above the stove so chefs can watch cooking shows, Carfagna said.
"It's like a showstopper," he said. "There's nothing like it."
Owners are granted access to the building's private garden and a storage area in the basement is included.
Prospective buyers will need board approval and 30 percent down on the apartment, according to the listing.
