Bushwick Fire Injures 3, FDNY Says

BUSHWICK — Three people suffered minor injuries after a fire broke out in a Bushwick building early Monday morning, officials said.

The blaze occurred on the first floor of the three-story building at 1188 Greene Ave. about 2:14 a.m. Monday, according to the FDNY.

Sixteen firefighters responded, bringing the fire under control by 2:45 a.m., FDNY said.

Three people had minor injuries, with one person taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, officials said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
