Man Shot in Inwood Restaurant Early Sunday, Police Say

MANHATTAN — A man was shot in the leg in an Inwood restaurant after getting into an argument with two men early Sunday morning, police said.

The shooting happened at the El Floridita Restaurant at 3856 10th Ave. at about 5:16 a.m. on July 20. Two men walked into the restaurant and then got into a verbal dispute with the victim, police said.

One of the men then allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the 33-year-old victim in the leg.

The men fled and the victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said.

Both suspects are in their 20s. One is about 5-foot-5 with a slim build and was wearing a white t-shirt and white hat, police said.

The other suspect is about 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds. He was wearing a dark shirt and light colored shorts.
